Ministry of National Food Job Opportunities 2025. The Department of Plant Protection (DPP), under the Ministry of National Food Security & Research (MNFS&R), is inviting applications for the position listed below on a contract basis until June 30, 2026. The contract may be extended for an additional year based on performance. Eligible candidates meeting the required criteria are encouraged to apply.

Available Position:

Entomologist (BS-17)

  • Number of Positions: 50
  • Salary: Rs. 90,000 (under revision)
  • Location: Anywhere in Pakistan
  • Domicile: Open Merit
  • Maximum Age Limit: 30 years (with applicable age relaxation as per government rules)
  • Qualification: B.Sc. (Hons.) in Agriculture with a specialization in Entomology, Plant Protection, or Plant Pathology, or an equivalent qualification from a Higher Education Commission (HEC)-recognized institution.

Application Process For Ministry of National Food Posts

Important Instructions:

Applicants already employed in government services should apply through the proper channel and provide a No Objection Certificate (NOC) at the time of the interview. Shortlisted candidates must present their original academic documents and attested copies issued by recognized universities or boards during the interview. A maximum of five years of age relaxation is permitted by government rules.
