Consultant Required – Procurement of Buses & Vehicle Operating Company

Positions at Today Sindh Mass Transit Authority 2025. The Sindh Mass Transit Authority (SMTA) is seeking a qualified individual consultant for the procurement of buses and vehicle operating company in accordance with SPPRA Rules 2010 (amended from time to time). This is an excellent opportunity for experienced professionals in the transport sector.

Scope of Work

The selected consultant will be responsible for:

• Preparing bidding/tender documents for the procurement of buses and vehicle operating company as per SPPRA regulations.
• Evaluating bids based on the criteria outlined in the bidding documents.
• Assisting the Procurement Committee throughout the bidding process and contract awarding.

Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification:

• Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Transport Planning, Urban Planning, Urban Engineering, or a related field.

Experience Required:

• A minimum of 8 years of experience in the transport sector.
• Expertise in developing financial models, preparing bidding documents for bus procurement, Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS), and vehicle operating companies.
• Must have comprehensive knowledge of technical, legal, and financial aspects of operations and maintenance in the transport sector.
