📢 Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) – Hiring a Data Scientist

Federal Board of Revenue FBR Job Opportunities. The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR), Government of Pakistan, is seeking applications from qualified and experienced individuals for the position of Data Scientist under the Pakistan Raises Revenue Program (PRRP). This recruitment is funded by the World Bank, and the selected consultant will work on a contract basis at FBR House, Islamabad.

🔍 Position: Data Scientist

📌 Qualifications:
✔ Master’s or Bachelor’s Degree (16 years of education) in Data Science, Data Analytics, or an equivalent field from an HEC-recognized university.

📌 Experience & Skills:
✔ Minimum four (04) years of post-qualification experience in data analytics and machine learning.
✔ Proficiency in Python, XGBoost, Decision Tree, SHAP, or other advanced data analytics tools.
✔ Experience with computer-assisted language learning tools.
✔ Knowledge of Pakistan’s taxation laws and key tax administration challenges is preferred.

📌 Selection Criteria

✔ The selection will follow the Open Competitive Selection of Individual Consultants as per the World Bank’s Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers (July 2016, revised November 2017 & August 2018).
✔ The process will ensure compliance with the World Bank’s conflict of interest policy (Section III, Paragraphs 3.14, 3.16, and 3.17).
