- Position Title: Wing Head – Rates Trading (AVP/VP)
Location: Karachi
Reporting to: Divisional Head – Trading
Educational/Professional Qualification:
- Minimum Graduation from an HEC-recognized local or international university/college/institute.
- A Master’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business is preferred.
- CFA, FRM, ACI Dealing Certificate, or ACI Diploma would be an added advantage.
Experience: - At least 6 years of relevant experience in MM/Rates trading within the Treasury of a Bank/DFI/NBFI.
Other Skills/Expertise/Knowledge Required: - In-depth understanding of interest rate products, fixed-income markets, and macroeconomic factors.
- Strong analytical skills to interpret market data and economic indicators.
- Proficiency in trading platforms, financial modeling, and quantitative analysis tools.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to lead and motivate a trading team.
Outline of Main Duties/Responsibilities: - Manage investment and trading of fixed-income portfolios within allocated limits.
- Develop and execute trading strategies and investment proposals.
- Monitor financial market developments and trends in interest rates.
- Prepare and present performance reports of the Rates Trading Wing.
