Position Overview
We’re seeking experienced Lady Health Workers to strengthen our maternal and child healthcare services in key districts of Sindh. This role offers an opportunity to serve communities while advancing your healthcare career.
Key Responsibilities
- Maternal Care Services
- Provide comprehensive antenatal, natal, and postnatal care
- Conduct skilled pregnancy assessments and monitoring
- Perform IUCD insertions and removals
- Calculate Expected Delivery Dates (EDD) with precision
- Monitor high-risk pregnancies
- Healthcare Management
- Maintain detailed medical records and equipment inventory
- Generate weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports
- Ensure proper hospital waste management
- Supervise delivery area cleanliness
- Implement infection prevention protocols
- Community Engagement
- Communicate effectively with mothers in local languages
- Provide essential health education
- Foster community trust and engagement
- Maintain patient confidentiality and ethics
Required Qualifications
- Education: Two-year LHV Diploma with PNC registration
- Experience: 1-3 years in maternal healthcare
- Language: Fluency in local languages
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in healthcare software and reporting systems
