Latest Energy Department Job Opportunities 2025. The Energy Department, Government of Sindh, invites applications from qualified and experienced candidates for the following contract-based positions:
Position:
Block Manager (Oil & Gas), Provincial Block, Offshore Block, Model Petroleum Concession Agreement (MPCA), and Sindh Exploration and Development Company Limited (SEDC)
Qualification & Experience:
- Minimum 16 years of education in Geology, Geophysics, Petroleum Engineering, or related fields from a recognized university.
- At least 8–10 years of experience in the oil and gas sector, with expertise in exploration, development, and production operations.
- Familiarity with petroleum policies and the Model Petroleum Concession Agreement (MPCA) of 2012.
- Experience working with government departments or oil and gas companies will be preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
- Managing oil and gas exploration blocks.
- Reviewing and implementing policies related to petroleum and gas exploration.
- Coordinating with relevant government and private sector stakeholders.
- Monitoring exploration and development activities in assigned blocks.
Age Limit:
- Maximum 60 years.
Salary Package:
- Competitive market-based salary, up to PKR 250,000/month (negotiable based on experience).
Contract Duration:
- 1 year (extendable based on performance and departmental needs).
