As part of its vision to create a future-fit, sustainable, and dynamic banking environment, NBP is seeking qualified, experienced, and passionate professionals for the position of Senior HR Business Partner (VP/SVP) in Human Resource Management based at its Karachi office.


Position Details

Title: Senior HR Business Partner (VP/SVP)
Reporting To: Lead HR Business Partner


Qualifications & Experience Required

  1. Educational/Professional Qualifications:
    • Minimum Graduation or equivalent degree from an HEC-recognized local or international university.
    • Candidates with a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in HR, Public Administration or related fields will be preferred.
    • Professional HR certifications such as SHRM, CHRP, etc., will be considered an advantage.
  2. Experience:
    • Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in Human Resources.
    • Proven track record of working in at least two HR functions or as an HR Business Partner/Generalist.
    • Preference for candidates with HR experience in financial institutions.
  3. Skills & Expertise:
    • Strong leadership, planning, and project execution skills.
    • Excellent relationship management and communication abilities.
    • Detail-oriented mindset with a high level of accuracy.
    • Solid understanding of HR processes and financial business models.
    • Coaching, mentoring, and employee engagement expertise.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with business groups to implement HR strategies aligned with the Bank’s objectives.
  • Lead and manage HR services, including talent acquisition, employee engagement, and career development.
  • Develop and maintain partnerships to bridge communication between management and employees.
  • Plan and execute special HR projects and initiatives at a national scale.
  • Oversee workforce planning, headcount management, and employee performance systems.
  • Drive HR policy reviews and recommend improvements for compliance and operational efficiency.
  • Identify strategies to boost employee morale, retention, and organizational productivity.
  • Stay updated with industry trends to create a better working environment.
  • Perform any other HR-related tasks assigned by supervisors.

Assessment & Selection Process

Employment Type

  • Contractual for 3 years (renewable based on performance).
