The Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP), Pakistan’s premier regulatory authority for the capital markets and corporate sector, is hiring a highly qualified, experienced, and dynamic professional for a key position in its Mergers & Restructuring Department.
Position Title: Director – Mergers & Restructuring
Location: Islamabad
Number of Positions: 01
Employment Type: Contractual (03 years, extendable based on performance and organizational need)
Potential for Regularization: May be considered for regularization after 3 years upon meeting eligibility criteria
Eligibility Criteria
Qualification:
- Master’s or Bachelor’s degree (minimum 16 years of education) in Accounting, Finance, or Law from an HEC-recognized institute
- OR a qualified CA, CMA, or ACCA
Experience:
- Minimum of 15 years of post-qualification experience in relevant fields
- Hands-on experience with mergers, acquisitions, and restructuring processes preferred
- CA Articleship will be considered as relevant experience for Chartered Accountants
Age Limit:
- Must not exceed 50 years on the closing date for applications
Key Skills Required:
- Strong analytical abilities
- Comprehensive understanding of legal and financial aspects of corporate mergers and restructuring
- Leadership and strategic planning skills
- Excellent interpersonal communication
