Latest Sindh Local Department Job Opportunities 2025. The Government of Sindh invites applications from qualified professionals for various positions under the Solid Waste Emergency & Efficiency Project (SWEEP), managed by the Sindh Solid Waste Management Board (SSWMB).

📌 Available Positions & Requirements

1️⃣ Procurement & Contract Management Specialist (01 Position)

🔹 Qualification: Master’s degree in Civil Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Business, Economics, or Commerce (Preference for Civil Engineering graduates).
🔹 Experience: Minimum 8 years in civil construction contract management with expertise in FIDIC rules.

2️⃣ Senior Solid Waste Engineer (01 Position)

🔹 Qualification: Master’s degree in Environmental Science/Engineering from an HEC-recognized university.
🔹 Experience: 10+ years in waste management projects with a deep understanding of waste management regulations, policies, and technologies.

3️⃣ Environmental Specialist (01 Position)

🔹 Qualification: Master’s degree in Environmental Sciences/Engineering or a relevant discipline.
🔹 Experience: 15+ years in environmental impact assessments and environmental management plans, preferably in solid waste management.
🔹 Additional: Knowledge of federal, provincial, and international laws on environmental health & safety; experience in World Bank/Foreign Funded Projects is a plus.

4️⃣ Assistant Manager Finance (Audit) (01 Position)

🔹 Qualification: ACCA/ACMA or Master’s in Accounting/Finance. Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) preferred.
🔹 Experience: 5+ years in internal auditing, preferably in project management.
🔹 Additional: Strong analytical, communication, and report-writing skills; familiarity with World Bank Client Connection Software is an advantage.

5️⃣ Livelihood Officer (02 Positions)

🔹 Qualification: Bachelor’s in Social Sciences/Development Studies (Master’s preferred).
🔹 Experience: 5+ years in livelihood programs, vocational training, and community-based projects.
🔹 Skills: Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and database management.

6️⃣ Assistant Manager (Civil) (02 Positions)

🔹 Qualification: Bachelor’s in Civil Engineering from an HEC-recognized university.
🔹 Experience: 3+ years in Civil Engineering within a public or private organization.

7️⃣ Quantity Surveyor (01 Position)

🔹 Qualification: Bachelor’s in Civil Engineering.
🔹 Experience: 5+ years in civil construction & quantity surveying (Preference for candidates with infrastructure experience in reputed consultancy firms).
🔹 Skills: Expertise in AutoCAD, MS Office, and other relevant software.

📌 Important Information

✔ Contract Basis: These positions are purely contractual, renewed annually based on performance.
✔ No Regularization: Candidates cannot claim permanent employment under government policy.
✔ Market-Based Salary: Competitive packages will be offered to selected candidates.
