Eligibility Criteria
Educational & Experience Requirements
Candidates must meet one of the following criteria:
- Academic Leadership Track:
- Ph.D. from an HEC-recognized university in a relevant field.
- At least 20 years of experience, including 10 years in administrative, financial, or academic leadership roles such as Vice Chancellor, Rector, President, Pro Vice-Chancellor, Dean, Chairman, Registrar, or Principal in a university or reputable institute.
- Civil Service Track:
- BPS-21 cadre officer or above with a Master’s degree from an HEC-recognized university.
- Research & Academia Track:
- Master’s degree (preferably Ph.D.) in the relevant field.
- 15 years of experience in academia, civil society, research, or leadership roles.
- At least 10 research publications in HEC-recognized journals.
Note:
- Civil service officers selected for this position must resign or seek retirement before assuming office.
