Sindh Mass Transit Authority Latest Opportunity. The Sindh Mass Transit Authority (SMTA), Government of Sindh, invites applications from qualified and experienced professionals for a contractual position. The selected candidate will be offered a comprehensive market-based salary package in accordance with government guidelines.

Position: Deputy Director Transport & Bus Operations
Age Limit: Maximum 38 years at the time of application
Term of Appointment: 1 year (extendable based on satisfactory performance)

Qualification & Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Transport Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a related discipline from an HEC-recognized university
Minimum 7 years of post-qualification experience including Urban Transport Operations, BRT Systems, Fleet Scheduling, or Contract Management
Higher academic qualifications/specializations or foreign qualifications will be considered an added advantage

Key Responsibilities:
Manage bus fleet and generate KPI-based reports
Review statistics in Command and Control operations
Provide mechanical advisory related to bus operations and fleet management
Ensure implementation of SLAs and maintenance of bus depots
Perform any additional tasks assigned by SMTA administration
Comply with anti-harassment and gender equality policies
Promote and support a gender-balanced and inclusive workplace
