Job Positions Available at SIUT Maryam Bashir Dawood Children & Cardiac Hospital Karachi
Assistant Professor Paediatric Emergency Department
Qualifications: FCPS Paediatrics or an equivalent qualification with two years of fellowship training in Paediatric Emergency Medicine. Must have at least 2 years’ experience as an independent consultant. Preference will be given to candidates experienced in developing ER protocols and throughput pathways for national and international accreditation standards.
Assistant Professor Paediatric ICU
Qualifications: Successful completion of training in Paediatric Intensive Care or relevant certification exams in the same field.
Consultant / Specialist / Senior RMO Anaesthesia
Qualifications:
- Consultant: FCPS/MCPS or equivalent qualification in Anaesthesiology with 5 years’ experience.
- Specialist: MCPS/DA or equivalent qualification in Anaesthesiology.
- Senior RMO: MBBS with FCPS training completed.
Senior Lecturer Paediatric Urology
Qualifications: FCPS/MS or equivalent qualification in Urology or Paediatric Surgery.
Senior RMO Paediatric Intensive Care Unit
Qualifications: FCPS/MD/DCH/MCPS training completed in Paediatrics.
Resident Medical Officer (Shift Duties)
Qualifications: MBBS with completion of one-year house job.
Medical Transcriptionist (Histopathology)
Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in Science with 2 years of experience in transcribing Histopathology reports. Typing speed should exceed 30 words per minute. Proficiency in medical terminology and relevant computer skills is mandatory.
Facility Engineering Manager
Qualifications: B.E in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline. A Master’s degree is preferred with 5 to 7 years of relevant experience.
Engineering Shift Supervisors
Qualifications: DAE Civil with 2 to 3 years of supervisory experience, preferably in a hospital setup.
CCTV Technician
Qualifications: Diploma of Associate Engineering (Electronics) with at least 3 years of hands-on experience in installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting CCTV systems. Expertise in IP-based camera systems is required.
