Islamabad Electric Supply Company (IESCO) is a leading power distribution company in Pakistan. IESCO oversees operations across six districts: Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Murree, Attock, Jhelum, and Chakwal. IESCO invites applications for the high-level role of Chief Financial Officer (CFO) on a contract basis. Chief Financial Officer (CFO) – 01 Position
- Job Profile:
The CFO will directly report to the Chief Executive Officer and the Board of Directors. The incumbent will lead and manage the Finance, Treasury, and Accounts department, ensuring the board receives sound financial advice. Responsibilities include maintaining financial records, managing internal control systems, and ensuring compliance with corporate governance rules of public sector companies. - Qualifications & Experience:
- A public sector finance professional with an HEC-recognized Master’s degree and 15+ years’ experience.
- Key Responsibilities:
- ERP system management and integration.
- Internal audit function implementation and risk management.
- Financial control function management.
- Expertise in corporate governance, procurement control, and regulatory frameworks in Pakistan’s electricity market.
- Ensuring financial integrity and leadership of finance teams.
- Salary Package:
Competitive market-based salary with company-maintained car and medical coverage. - Tenure & Age Limit:
Initial three-year contract, extendable based on performance. Six-month probation period for contract confirmation.
Maximum Age Limit: 55 years.
