Available Positions in United Medical & Dental College (UMDC)
- Assistant Professor – Biochemistry
The ideal candidate should hold a postgraduate qualification in Biochemistry, such as an FCPS or MPhil, along with teaching experience at a recognized institution. This role will involve teaching Biochemistry to undergraduate medical students and participating in research activities. - Assistant Professor – Community Health Sciences (CHS)
Candidates must have a specialized qualification in Community Medicine or Public Health, such as an MPH or FCPS in Community Medicine. Teaching experience and research in public health or preventive medicine will be an added advantage. - Associate Professor – Medicine
Applicants should have a postgraduate qualification in Medicine, such as FCPS, MRCP, or equivalent, with significant teaching and clinical experience. The candidate should also have published research and possess strong leadership skills in managing a clinical department. - Professor – Surgery
The position requires a senior-level candidate with a strong academic and clinical background in General Surgery. The individual should have a fellowship or equivalent qualifications, with a minimum of five years of experience as an Associate Professor or Professor. The candidate will be responsible for teaching, leading surgical departments, and mentoring junior faculty and students. - Assistant Professor – Surgery
Candidates should possess postgraduate qualifications in Surgery (FCPS or equivalent) and have relevant teaching experience. The role includes conducting lectures, overseeing clinical training, and engaging in surgical research. - Professor – ENT (Ear, Nose, and Throat)
Candidates must have a fellowship in ENT or equivalent qualifications, with at least five years of experience in teaching and clinical practice. The professor will be expected to lead the ENT department and engage in both teaching and research activities.
