The Government of Sindh’s Planning & Development Department is inviting expressions of interest for the following positions: Member (Water) under SNIP Scale-II and Member (Information Technology) under SMP Scale-II. The Member (Water) position requires a Ph.D. in Civil Engineering, preferably in Water Resource Engineering & Management, with at least 6 years of relevant experience, or an M.E/MS in the same field with a minimum of 10 years of experience.

This role involves providing technical advice on water sector matters, preparing sectoral plans, and coordinating with federal ministries. The Member (Information Technology) position calls for a Ph.D. in IT or Computer Science with at least 6 years of relevant experience or a Master’s degree in the same field with 10 years of experience. Responsibilities include preparing IT plans and providing technical support within the department. Both positions have an age limit of 62 years and require candidates to have a domicile/PRC of Sindh. Remuneration will follow the Sindh Management Position Scales Policy 2022, with an initial contract duration of 2 years, extendable based on performance.

Positions Available:

1. Member (Water) – SNIP Scale-II
   Qualifications/Experience:
   • Ph.D. in Civil Engineering (preferably in Water Resource Engineering & Management) with at least 6 years of relevant experience, or
   • M.E/MS in Civil Engineering with at least 10 years of relevant experience.
     Job Description:

   • Prepare sectoral plans, project processing, and completion reports.
   • Coordinate with federal ministries and engage in policy planning.
     Age Limit: Should not exceed 62 years.
2. Member (Information Technology) – SMP Scale-II
   Qualifications/Experience:
   • Ph.D. in IT or Computer Science with at least 6 years of relevant experience, or
   • Master’s in IT or Computer Science with at least 10 years of relevant experience.
     Job Description:
   • Prepare IT plans, provide technical support, and oversee monitoring and evaluation within the department.
     Age Limit: Should not exceed 62 years.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a domicile/PRC of Sindh.
• Remuneration as per Sindh Management Position Scales Policy 2022.
• Initial contract for 2 years, extendable based on performance.
